We never let Naqib crawling on the hard surface. He is always on mattress to cushion off in case of the unexpected. |
While driving we were talking about nursery, I mean children nursery. To be specific we were talking about a Nursery in Ampang Permata which caused some panic to parents because of the death of two babies under its cares.
"We do the right thing. No regret", came out from my wife a sound of relief. I could not agree more her feeling.
"Their concerned is making profit not the safety of the children. I heard there are fifty children under its care. I believe its has limited number of baby sitters. The ratio does not right".
"The authorities are investigating. We just can not speculate", I quickly quipped so as to stop my wife from speculating and giving story and facts which are yet to be verified by the authorities especially on the cause(s) of the death.
Anyhow our decision to go to Putra Jaya and left our house vacant just to be together with our daughter for us to look after Naqib (grandson) is a very fulfilling decision.
For us, especially, I myself always suspect on the quality of our nurseries whether the licensed one or the one operate without license. Some maybe can provide a good number of baby sitters, good service in terms of providing foods but one thing which is lacking in Malaysia is safety consciousness. They normally are taking thing for granted on the aspect of safety. Same with the hygienic aspects, very poorly managed.
And I suspect, the baby sitters are not properly trained on those aspects. So it is high time for the authorities to really scrutinize the applications for license to operate nursery. And of course the enforcement must be there doing their work efficiently and honestly.
So Naqib now is in the good hands of their grandparents, my wife and myself. We give our love with no consideration whatsoever. Only our love. That is all.
