Year 2012 Still Taking care of a grandson.

Yousef Imran eating biscuit. Now he is able to 'dial' hand phone (mum hand phone) and say hello to Tokpa and Nenek. What a smart boy . I believe the next month bill will be a shocking news to her mum.
Ahmad Naqib  showing his skill as a walker pilot. Father at the back looking anxiously.
I have been missing for several days. No updating of my blog. And today is the first day of 2012. So I thought I must write something but within the confine of my two grandsons stories. I do hope this will not make people who browse through this blog by chance or otherwise become bored.

To recap, I have two grandsons at the moment. Both are boys. The first is Yousef Imran the son of Hazlin Azmira and Azrul Aswad. He is now one year five months. The other one is Ahmad Naqib, the son of Hazlin Azzamiza and Ahmad Sanihi. He is now nine months old.

I am their grandpa or Tokpa. My wife is their Nenek.
My wife and I now staying together with my second grandchild that is Ahmad Naqib.  Until he can adjust himself to the new environment, we have to be together. I reckon it will take a few months at least until he will be able to walk steadily. Once he has master his new discovery, I meant he can walk and run steadily, then is the time we will be able to say to his parents to look for a nursery to look after him. But for now we are their caretakers.

To take care a child is nothing new for both of us because we had done that before. We have six children and not even one were under the care of a maid. But we were lucky because my wife's grandma were staying with us. No problem.

Even though we had a service from the beloved grandma, my wife and I never neglected our duties as parents to our children. I was the one who did the washing of dirty clothes( at that time washing machine was a luxury and not a necessity item), singing songs to make the children sleep and telling stories from my own creations which they never felt bored to listen to. While my wife did her usual thing , never failed to cook for our children. She would never let somebody else to cook for her children.

So looking after children is not a big deal for us.  But only on the temporary basis because we have our own life as husband and wife
in the final lap before reaching the line beyond.

Hope this new year, the year of 2012 will give me the extra strengths to write interesting stories about our two grandchildren, their likes, dislikes, and whatever happenings which they would create to inspire me to put on record in this blog of mine.
