Grandma and Yousef : "Enjoy your trip tomorrow ", whispered grandma..
Saturday 11.12.2011- Wedding in Rembau. Engagement- Kuala Kangsar.
Those are notes in my diary for Saturday. Wedding invitation from a school mate for the second time. The last one which was three years back we could not make it because we had to be in some other place. Then invitation for an engagement function in Kuala Kangsar from my daughter's parents in law. Either one has to be missed.
After much thoughts we decided to miss the wedding in Rembau. Although we had missed one before we thought it is proper for us to attend function in Kuala Kangsar . Rembau is an old friend's function, my school mate. Kuala Kangsar is my daughter's parents in law, the newly built relative through marriage. I supposed the newly built one has to be strengthened.
That is the basis of my decision.
Anyway we have decided to see our friend in Rembau and say sorry ourselves personally.
On Friday on the way to Kuala Lumpur we stopped over in Rembau and met our friend at his house . He was busy preparing for the wedding and we just talked about a few minutes. We congratulated him and left the house.
Arrived at Ampang South View at 8 pm. It was raining . Our daughter Ira and her boy Yousef were so happy meeting both of us. We had dinner together, courtesy of my wife who bought the fried kueh teow at a nearby stall on the way to the house.
Yousef so eager to learn alphabets and jawi. He took all his 'books' and showed to my wife, his grandma. The two had their own session while I was blogging. My daughter Ira was preparing something that needed to be brought together for a trip to Cameroon Highland. That's their plan for tomorrow after Kuala Kangsar function. But we, my wife and I will not be joining them.
It was already late for Yousef to be on the bed, 10pm. I was also so tired. In fact all of us slowly got up from our seats and went straight up to our rooms. Tomorrow will be our journey to Kuala Kangsar. We need to be fresh tomorrow.
