We are at a loss for words. No more ideas. Do know nothing what to do. All techniques failed flatly.
That's our situation at this moment. My little boy Naqib refused to take milk from bottle. We could not do anything. He shut his mouth firmly. He used both his hands to push away our hands . Our hands could not reach even six inches near to his mouth. He even closed his eyes when he saw the bottle. He does not like to see the bottle either. I am actually at a loss for words to describe the situation.
Is it a problem? Or a challenge as most people like to see at it. I do not subscribe to both. No, I would not think so. The situation is real. What we need is/are solution(s). How could I persuade Naqib who is just seven months old to drink milk from bottle. That is the issue. Not a problem and there is no such challenge from Naqib. Because he is not a problematic boy. He never challenged any body. He is simply a cute boy.
Not that he does not like mama's milk. He likes it very much. He likes direct feeding but not bottle feeding at the moment.
"But mama would not be able to do that all day because she is a working mother and not 'a full time' mother." I wish Naqib could hear that.
Before this happened Naqib was both bottle as well as direct feeding boy. It started when he had a runny nose that made him difficult to breath when he had his milk (mama's milk put in the bottle) through bottle feeding. That breathing difficulty made him 'traumatic' when he see at the bottle.
That is a bit of a background to the issue.
I need answer(s). That's it. Anybody out there, could you please help us.
We have tried as I said earlier many techniques but without success. We are not hopeless though. We keep on trying and pray to Allah Almighty seeking for help.
